The voyage continues with the second instalment of A.dixen’s Death Tapes Trilogy. Following Vol. 1’s dark ambient and hazy meditative melodies Vol. 2 adds jungle breaks, broken beats and pulsing drum machine patterns into the mix. Building on the textured and layered soundscapes from the previous album, Vol. 2 is a natural progression and further exploration of the haunting Death Tapes universe.

Across the albums 12 tracks A.dixen creates a hypnotic and deeply personal journey navigating feelings of love and loss, fear and hope, traversing through otherworldly and ethereal atmospheres and emotions. Composed and recorded in Copenhagen during spring and summer 2019, the album is crafted on his modular synth merged with organic source material and distorted field recordings. Death Tapes Vol. 2 is the second instalment in a trilogy set to release during 2019 and 2020.
